Contactless injector pulse reader

Nozzle Crocodile is used within vehicle telematics and GPS tracking systems for fuel consumption monitoring of personal cars and small commercial vehicles.

Nozzle Crocodile reads control pulses from wires of engine injector (nozzle) and converts them into normalized pulses, which are sent to data processing unit. Number of sent pulses is directly proportional to the volume of consumed fuel.

Safe connection to nozzle control wires

NozzleCrocodile reads signals through wire insulation without damaging wires. Contactless readers has no influence on signals in control wires.

Operation without presetting

NozzleCrocodile is a ready-to-use pulse counter, which does not require pre-configuration – no service kits, no service software.

Universal pulse output

NozzleCrocodile can be connected to almost any telematics unit or display, equipped with pulse counter input.

Generally, Nozzle Crocodile reader can be connected to any pulse-counting input with corresponding technical specifications. Nozzle Crocodile’s output signal is the same as DFM fuel flow meter’s with pulse output. See Technoton Document Center for more information.
